Hi! Thanks for visiting our newly developed website. We hope it gives you a picture to catch who we are, how we roll and a little of our heart.

Everyday Church was born from a vision of a simpler church, and inspired by the early church and grassroots movements. We want to see everyday people join God on his kingdom mission in the everyday things of life.

What if a church was the people, not the building?

What if a church focused more on being the church every day, not just on Sunday?

What if a church was joining God on his mission and making apprentices of Jesus in the everyday things of life?

What if a church was embodying the early church movement Jesus and his disciples began instead of later institutional traditions?

Everyday Church is

  • a movement of everyday people initiating a unique expression of church

  • all kinds of everyday people from all walks of life as family

  • doing life as family, loving one another, living on mission together

  • revealing God’s kingdom in the places we live

  • seeking the flourishing of our neighbourhoods

  • missional homes saturating Adelaide’s southern suburbs

  • unchurched people connecting with Jesus, belonging before they believe

  • where all are apprentices of Jesus and we join Him in apprenticing others

  • where mission is part of the everyday fabric of life

  • keeping it simple

  • generosity beyond belief

Our vision and mission

We envision a movement of everyday people revealing God’s kingdom in every neighbourhood, connecting the unchurched with Jesus, multiplying disciples and saturating the south with missional homes. Our mission is to make disciple-makers.

Here is another way of saying it.

We’re a family of missional homes (house churches), who live in community (become family), sharing our everyday lives and making disciples who make disciples (apprentices), multiplying missional homes (planting more homes) to saturate the south, our city and our nation (bless the south!).

Here is the shortest way of saying it.

We make, mature and multiply disciples (3M’s).
